Equip is a group of men and women with curious minds, robust technical skills, a true love for the Atlassian tools, and a deep appreciation for honest to goodness human connection.

OUR STORY

Equip was founded in 2013 as BlackPearl PDM. At the time, we were a vibrational analysis company offering Atlassian tools consulting on the side. As the demand for Atlassian expertise grew, founder Mick Flanigan set out to build a team of passionate and skilled Atlassian practitioners and never looked back.

Today, we’re known as Equip – a team of men and women fully dedicated to helping businesses adopt and optimize the Atlassian tools for their work. Headquartered in Portland and Seattle, we’re proud to serve happy customers across the United States.

EAT YOUR OWN DOGFOOD

As consultants, we take our responsibility to clients to heart. That doesn’t mean dropping and eating a bowl of kibble to prove our dedication, but it does mean keeping tightly aligned with the litmus test: “Do I believe in what I’m recommending?”

This core value requires every team member to walk in the shoes of the people they work with every day. And it holds true in our interactions with clients as well as one another. “Eat your own dog food” is pretty much the golden rule on steroids, and if this is how you like to do business, we want to hear from you.

PURSUE WITH PASSION

Bear with us for a moment while we get warm and fuzzy… without passion, Equip simply would not exist. Our passion for our work and our clients underwrites everything the Equip team brings to the table. We fundamentally believe that we are good at what we do because we love what we do. And we are so damn dedicated to ensuring our clients feel supported and cared for, our standard of success is when they “feel the love.”

We’ve created a team of people who bring passion to all aspects of life, and this philosophy lives on after we leave the office each day. Between outdoor adventurers, bicycle fanatics, fútbol fans, and far-flung fishing excursions (to name a few) – we’re proud to call ourselves a team of passionate people.
